Until I was in a congregation where no-one sipped and nibbled I didn't think the memorial was weird. After all, we were respectful observers of her.
It was only after leaving that congregation I queried what I was supposed to be observing because there was nobody in the new one so it got passed round for nothing.

as a born in jw my outlet was always music.
my parents let me do piano lessons (from another sister) and when i was 14 i lobbied hard enough for a guitar.

If music is what you desire then make time for it. Never deny music or art in your life. It defines as humans more than anything else, including science IMO

i have a friend that has pancreatic cancer and he just went to see the dr today at 10 am est.
he said he will come here at my home after dr's appt.
i texted him few mins ago but he did not reply back to me, maybe he turned his phone off since some dr's offices does not permit cell phone use.
The doctors here operate an appointment system. It is usual to wait over an hour past the allotted time.
Edited to add: Appointments have to be booked 2 weeks in advance.
apparently "prejudice" applies only to racial equality and has nothing to do with diverse sexual orientation or religious beliefs.
